| About Me Modalities FAQ Contact |
Here are some of the questions people commonly ask me about my work. If you don't see the answer to your question here, please use the Contact form and I will try to answer your question individually. There are very frank questions here with candid answers. I believe that it is important for these issues to be communicated openly and honestly, without fear, guilt or shame. Do you give any special discounts? Yes. If you donate to AIDS/Lifecycle and bring me the donation receipt, I'll give you $10 off my regular rate for that visit only. AIDS/Lifecycle cyclists and roadies are also entitled to $10 off for any visit, but you must bring your participant card with you to receive the discount. Where are you located? I am in the northern San Francisco peninsula, on Buri Buri ridge in the San Andreas rift zone, a few miles west of the San Francisco airport, convenient to interstate 280 and highway 35. Do you give "happy endings?" Absolutely not. It's unfortunate that for some time, unscrupulous individuals have called themselves "massage therapists" but are actually little more than prostitutes. I am a professional bodyworker, and I perform only non-sexual therapeutic massage. Anyone making inappropriate sexual advances during a massage session will be asked to dress and leave and will be asked to pay for their session, forfeiting the remainder of their time. Scheduling an appointment means agreeing with this policy. Those seeking sexual services are asked to make appointments elsewhere. What kind of massage do you do? Exactly what I do during a massage session depends on the individual needs of a client on a particular visit. Please see the modalities page for a description of the massage modalities in which I am trained. Do I have to get naked? No, you need only disrobe to your own personal level of comfort. In some situations I may ask a client to leave his or her underclothes on to avoid convoluted draping procedures (especially if it is advantageous to use the side-lying position). In all other cases, when working with nude clients, I always work with a drape, exposing only the body parts on which I'm working, and always protecting clients' modesty. It's usually easier to work on nude clients, but many techniques can be performed right through clothing. It is therefore up to the client to decide his or her level of comfort. What if I burp, fart, drool, cry, have an erection, etc? To put it simply, don't worry about it. Human bodies do all sorts of things when they enter a relaxed-- or just different-- state. Releases of tension come in many forms and can't always be controlled by the client to necessarily conform to the subtle nuances of social convention. Rather than worry or get stressed-out about it, realize that I'm aware that these things just happen. There is no need for embarassment. What are your cancellation and payment policies? Full payment is expected at the time of the session unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Kindly give 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment, or full payment will be expected. Cash payment is preferred. Checks may be accepted with a photo ID. There will be a $30 fee for dishonored checks. What are your rates? Please contact me for my current rates. Do you do outcalls? Generally not. I may make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Please contact me for more information. |
